Hello Lija, your jipmer rank is quite wonderful. But, since the seats are few and competition is high, the cut off rank for UR category is also really high. But most of the candidates of jipmer also appear for aiims and NEET, so its very likely that the top rankers do not take admission there. Also, candidates with high ranks decide not to take part in the jipmer counselling. So there's always a chance in the open round counselling and yes, I would recommend you to go for the counselling.
