Because taking Basic Mathematics in class 10 prevents you from choosing the PCM stream in classes 11 and 12, and because you cannot appear in JEE-Main without PCM, students who wish to take PCM in classes 11 and 12—especially in the CBSE board—should choose Standard Mathematics.

You now have two options: either you repeat class 10th with ordinary mathematics or you participate in another state board, if that is okay with you. In the event that you choose the PCM track in classes 11 and 12 from any accredited state board, you will also be qualified for JEE Main .

First of all, you need take up Science stream after 10th with Maths as a mandatory subject alongwith Physics and Chemistry. You need make your basics clear for PCM and then really focus on the pattern and topics for JEE Mains. JEE Mains focusses on the syllabus of class 11 and 12 of the three subjects physics,n chemistty and maths.
