i have NIOS marksheet, but in maths the remark is SYCT, i have completed b.tech. can I apply for UPSC ? over all result given by NIOS is PASS.

Hi Aspirant,

Yes, you can apply for UPSC. The certificate obtained from National Institute of Open schooling is valid for all government job entrance exams like UPSC exams, SSC exams, IB exams etc. NIOS board is recognized by Central government and Ministry of HRD for secondary and higher secondary board of education. Eligibility criteria for UPSC Civil Services is that one should have nationality as Indian, age limit between 21 years to 32 years and educational Qualification should be of Graduation.

And Since you have completed BTech, you are eligible for UPSC.
