If you have made the mistake in filling the code like choosing code 1 with code 2 or vice versa, then you shouldn't be worried about it. Code 1 is for students who are appearing in class XII and are awaiting their results while code 2 is for those candidates who have passed their XII standard.

So if you have made the above mistake then it won't be a problem as many students have passed their XII examination by the time results will be declared.

But if you have made some other code mistake then it completely depends on the authority, if they would consider your case and would let go the mistake you made or not. Though it shouldn't be a problem as during counseling you can provide documents and it would be alright.

You should have corrected your code but now don't worry and stress yourself even if it is wrong.

This is because,

Wrong code in your neet application form can't be the reason for the cancellation of candidature as :-

The qualification code during form filling is just to know your current status:-

--------) whether you are 12th appearing

--------) already passed

--------) type of board i. e 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination or intermediate / pre- degree examination

--------) if you are doing any course is it  bsc with PCB or any other

--------) or after 12th you have even passed your bsc.

--------) have studied from a foreign board.

As long as you fulfill neet eligibility criteria you don't need to worry i. e should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category. For detailed information about neet eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -
