With this rank, your chances of getting a seat in NIT, IIITs is extremely low. Even to get into lower NITs you should have got at least around 45000 - 50,000 rank i. e 95.5 - 96 percentile

And when it comes to computer science then,

Even to get into lower NITs, for cse your rank should have been at least around  28k - 29k  i. e at  least 97.5 percentile

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under other state quota  29040 rank  was closing rank for gender neutral for general category for computer science in NIT Mizoram which is one of the lower NITs

Dear candidate, sorry to say but at 88 percentile you can’t get NIT if you are from General category. You should check for some State Engineering Colleges or private colleges. You can predict your college using this link:
