Hello there,

The admissions into IITs and NITs are on the basis of the percentile secured in JEE( JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION). Without giving JEE MAINS exam, you will not get admission in any engineering college.

The eligibility criteria of JEE MAIN is to have 65% (sc\st category) in your 10+2.
