Hello there,

Having 6/6 corrected vision with spectacles means you see normally. Your eligibility depends entirely on the specific profession or activity you're asking about.

Many fields have additional visual criteria beyond just corrected acuity, such as:

  • Uncorrected vision limits
  • Maximum spectacle power allowed
  • Normal color vision
  • Rules regarding LASIK/eye surgeries

Examples:

  • Most civilian jobs: Usually no issue .
  • Commercial Pilot: Generally fine if correctable to 6/6, but specific uncorrected limits and eye health rules apply.
  • Defense/Police: Much stricter, with tight limits on uncorrected vision and lens power .

To know your eligibility, you must specify the profession or admission you're asking about.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
