Even I have same problem I had marked general category instead of obc/ncl....now I  really worried to change it  but I can't do that...

Even can I apply the other applications with another details ...won't be any problem in  future???like not following r not obeying nbe rules...

Am just scared...

Dear Pamela, if you are worried whether they will allow you to attempt your exam, do not be worried. You will be allowed to write your exam. To be honest, the difficult part comes when you appear for counselling because there are chances that your rank has improved based on your choice of the reservation category. You might be asked for your OBC certificate at the time of counselling. That is because your rank would have been different with the same no. of marks had you chosen General category. If you fail to show the OBC certificate, in your case which you dont have because you are from General Category, it is a trouble. Not to scare you but that might fall under instance of fraud. If you have reached out to the authorities and they said there is nothing that can be done, I would suggest you to fill in another application form. I know its a burden on the pocket but atleast you know that you are not committing any mistake.
