I want to inform to that please follow the steps -:

1. Contact your school in which you have studied 12th class.
2. Tell them all this and then ask them to provide you with the correct one.

you just need to contact your school that's all they will ask you a xerox document in which correct information is mentioned just give them that and rest they will do.

I have faced same issue but with correction in my name so i got that corrected one next day itself.

You can apply for a new leaving certificate with the correct information and correct spellings of your name, place and other details of yours in your previous college and then after getting the corrected documents from your previous school, you can submit it in your current college and can ask them to return the older one as it was having spelling mistakes in the same.

Any type of mistake in any of your documents will be not acceptable whether you are in school, college or applying for any job. So, please make sure that all the information provided in your documents are correct and accurate and if they have any mistakes, please do it correct as soon as possible in order to avoid any problems in the future related to your job or admissions.
