The modification in the education policy that came into effect last year has allowed students to pursue two courses at the same time .

So it's valid now to avail dual degree in the same stream or different stream as per the choice of the student but it is mandatory that one degree should be in regular mode and other should be in Distance learning mode in order to maintain a minimum attendance in one course.

I don't think the two universities will allow you to undergo the same course on regular basis simultaneously. So it's better you should switch to only one university that is more better.
