Yes, you can run Maya software smoothly on your PC. But You haven't mentioned the laptop brand you are using. According to the details you have mentioned about your PC, you can run Maya software smoothly without any problem, as Maya software requirements are just 4gb ram, i5 generation, 16gb free space.

But your specifications are considered only after the brand. So yes you can run Maya software but how smooth you can run is based on your PC brand
