Hello Dhananjay, 

AIEESE (Secondary) Examination provides a platform of support to all IIT/NIT students by granting them scholarship on qualifying it to pursue engineering education. BTE organise this exam at national level. 

The students who pass there 12th with at least 60% are eligibile for this exam and students securing 85 % or above marks in AIEESE (Secondary) are eligible for scholarship college fee for full years. 

If student secure between 85% to 75% than scholarship for 1 years fee is granted. 

Exam pattern is written based consiste of physics, chemistry, mathematics or biology. Well yes level is quite above ncert. So you will have to do hardwork till that level.
