Hello,

With a score of 200-300 marks in NEET under the SC quota, you might be eligible for courses in government colleges, but the chances depend on the specific college and state. Generally, you may be able to apply for:

  1. BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) - Some government colleges may offer BDS at this score range.

  2. BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) - This is another option you can consider.

  3. BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) - Ayurveda courses are often available with this score range.

  4. BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) - You might also be eligible for this course in some government colleges.

With a NEET score in the range of 200-300 under the SC quota, your options for securing a seat in a government medical college for the MBBS course will be limited, especially in the more sought-after institutions. The cutoff scores for MBBS in government colleges, even for the SC category, tend to be significantly higher due to the intense competition and limited number of seats.

However, this score range might open doors to other excellent courses in government colleges under the state and All India Quota (AIQ) counseling. Some of the courses you should definitely consider exploring are:

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS): The cutoff scores for BDS in government dental colleges are generally lower than those for MBBS. With your score, you have a reasonable chance of securing a BDS seat in a government college through the SC quota.
  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS): Government Ayurvedic colleges often have lower cutoff scores compared to MBBS. If you are interested in traditional Indian medicine, BAMS in a government institution is a good option to pursue.
  • Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS): Similar to BAMS, BHMS in government homeopathic medical colleges usually has more accessible cutoff scores than MBBS.
  • B.Sc. Nursing: Government nursing colleges offer B.Sc. Nursing programs, and the required NEET scores are typically lower than for medical or dental courses. This is a vital field with numerous career opportunities in the healthcare sector.

I HOPE THIS HELPS.
