it is a branch deals with complex algorithms and creating new algorithms in computer world. if u are good in maths, then u can easily do a lot better in this field. also, a there is huge scope and good salary, if u can excel in it....

ya, it is a seperate branch. u can google about it as i don't know much about the colleges providing it. but, many govt. institutions provide it, like DTU, many nit, iit and vit also.
