If you selected the "Ozone" option for identity type while creating your APAAR ID and the system accepted it and generated your ID, it should be fine initially. However, to ensure accuracy and avoid issues during future verification or registration, it’s recommended to confirm the validity of the selection with the official APAAR helpline. If any corrections are needed, they will guide you on whether to update the details or create a new APAAR ID.

If you've already created your APAAR ID, even if you selected only one option for your identity type, it is generally considered fine and you do not need to create a new one unless there is a specific requirement from your school or institution to include additional identity types.

Once generated, your APAAR ID will still function regardless of the identity type selected, allowing you to store and access your academic records.

Updating later:

If needed, you can usually go back and update your identity type details through the APAAR portal later on.

While technically acceptable, it's always best to double-check with your school or college to ensure they do not have specific guidelines regarding the identity type selection for APAAR IDs.

GOOD LUCK!!
