It should ideally not affect the admit card download or at the exam center as you are free to give the paper anywhere in India So, an error in your application form should not have an impact. Still it will be recommended to do the correction in the application form during the correction window.

Candidates are allowed to make a correction in the entries of the application form. But it will permitted only in restricted entries. Corrections will be done through the internet process only. In case you are yet to submit your fee, you can make multiple changes in your form. Once the payment is made, your form will be considered complete and no more changes can be made thereafter. The last date to submit the application form is 18 th September 2019.

The candidates will be given an option to make corrections in the image uploaded along with other corrections to make if any in the last week of September 2019. The date is yet to be declared officially.

Correction Details

Correction is allowed to be made in the following particulars and scanned images (as per last year) –

• Personal details
• Address
• Educational Information
• Exam City preferences

Ensure that the images are in JPEG/JPG format.

The candidate should fill in the details carefully as after the correction window is closed, no further corrections will be allowed.

How to make correction in the CAT form?

Follow the simple steps:

• Go to the official website of CAT2019
• Login by entering user ID and password
• Now you can modify the request form and make the required corrections
• Take a printout of the corrected application form for further use

Correction Process

Visit the official website during the period wherein the correction window is open. Corrections can be made only in the items listed above. After the payment is made, candidates should take the printout of the correction slip as well as the corrected application form for further use.
