Hello,

Sorry but with this percentile you can't secure top colleges in Mumbai, but you can still some good options like

  • Anjuman-I-Islam's Kaleskar Technical Campus
  • Theem College of Engineering
  • New Horizon Institute of Technology & Management
  • Datta Megha College of Engineering

Still, other than these four options, you can research other options, but in these colleges you have a high chance to get admission.

I hope it will clear your query!!

With 51 percentile in MHT CET, getting admission into top or mid-tier engineering colleges in Mumbai is very difficult, especially for popular branches like Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.

However, you may still get a chance in a few private or unaided colleges in Mumbai or nearby areas, particularly for less competitive branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical. Your chances also improve during the later rounds of counselling when vacant seats remain.

You should also consider looking at:

  • Management quota seats (if financially possible)

  • Colleges in Navi Mumbai, Thane, or other nearby regions with slightly lower cut-offs

If you got 51 percentile in MHT CET 2025, it is difficult to get a seat in top government or top private colleges in Mumbai. But you can still try for admission in some private colleges, depending on available seats, your category, and the cutoff of that year.

You may get admission in some private or lesser-known colleges in Mumbai. Some examples are Oriental College of Pharmacy, HK College of Pharmacy, Atharva College, Gurunanak College of Pharmacy, and Vivekanand Education Society's College. You might get courses like BPharma, BSc, or less demanded engineering branches.

Also, if you belong to any reservation category like OBC, SC, ST, EWS, or minority, your chances may be better.

Keep checking the official MHT CET admission rounds. You can also apply during the institute-level rounds where vacant seats are filled.
