Hello!

Congratulations on your result. With 79.60% in 10th, you can definitely apply for diploma courses in Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT). If you want to go for diploma directly after 10th, polytechnic colleges are the right choice. Good government and private polytechnics often have cut-offs around 70–80%, so you have a fair chance. After your diploma, you can take admission directly into the 2nd year of a B.Tech/B.E. program in CS or IT through lateral entry.

If you choose to continue in junior college (11th–12th), you can take PCM subjects and later appear for MHT CET or JEE for engineering admissions in CS/IT.

Make sure you apply in multiple colleges to improve your chances, and check the state DTE website for admission schedules.

Thank you, and best of luck for your future!
