Hello,if you have passed the class 12 in 2017 and you want to get good colleges then don't even worry a little bit.You are surely going to get yourself into good NITs and you can take the undertaking.There is not going to be any such obstructing your admission.If you are a two year drop out,then also,you can apply for JOSSA counselling.
