Yes, every university and college have provided the option of “branch change”, for the students after passing first year , so that if any doubt still prevails in the mind of a student after taking admission in first year, he/she can then change his/her respective branch in second year.

The procedure for the branch change differs from university to university, but basically the procedure is that a minimum cut off is taken out for each branch and if adequate seats are available in that respective branch after applying for the branch change, then depending upon the number of applicants for the branch change , a final list will be taken out for each branch.
