Hi,

There are three stream in which one can apply for kvpy exam.

• SA
• SX
• SB

Each year the eligibility rule is provided by the exam conducting authority. For the year 2021 the eligibility rule will be declared by authority at the time of application.

The kvpy 2020 exam will be conducted on 31st January 2021 . The ladt date to apply for the kvpy exam is 19th October 2020.

The eligibility for appearing in kvpy2020 exam under different stream is

Stream SA - appearing in class 11

Stream SX - appearing in class 12th

Stream SB - : Students enrolled in the 1st year of undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. during the academic year 2020-2021.

The percentage of marks required are - minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)  in the XII

So if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria you can apply under stream SB.
