Jee mains and advanced is one of the toughest exams conducted in india. If you are from general category then you need to bring at least 75% in cbse boards then you are eligible to give jee mains. After qualifying jee mains then only you are eligible for appear in jee advanced. Also only cracking the exam won't give you seats. In order to get a good institute and good course you need bring rank in the range of 10,000 or less. You have to complete syllabus of both the classes 11th and 12th PCM as from this only you will be asked MCQ Questions. If you want to crack no matter what happens you have to work hard
