Hello aspirant, with 429 marks in General category and domicile of J&K PM (Permanent Resident):

You have a fair to good chance of getting a seat in ASCOMS under state quota through JKBOPEE counselling.

Cutoff fluctuates slightly each year based on:

Number of applicants

Difficulty level of NEET

Seat matrix (if increased or reserved)

If you’re open to BDS or BAMS courses or management quota seats in other states, you might explore those options as well. But for ASCOMS (MBBS), you are in a competitive but possible range.

With a score of 429 in NEET under the general category and JKPM (Jammu & Kashmir Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme) quota, admission to ASCOMS (Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences) can be competitive. ASCOMS usually has high cutoffs for general seats, so while 429 is a decent score, it's safer to check the previous year’s cutoff trends. If the cutoff remains similar, chances might be moderate to low, but if it drops, you might stand a chance. Keep backup options ready as well.

Hello!

So according to your score that is 429 in NEET 2025 under general category with JKPM ,you have less chances of getting admission in  Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences.Last year the cut offs closed around 435-470.

If the cutt off drops this year or some seats remain vacant than you might have chance in later rounds.
