The formula for calculating approximate rank in jee mains by using percentile is:

JEE Main 2019 rank= (100- NTA percentile score ) X 874469 /100

To calculate you rank you can use the formulae given below -

Rank=(total number of students -(percentile*0.01*number of students))

where total number of students who appeared for the examination is 9.65 lakhs.

=965000 - (76*0.01*965000)
=965000-733400
=231600

Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469 /100.

874469 are the number of candidates appeared for JEE mains 2019 January attempt.
