Hi

As per NTA guidelines, your photos background should be white.

But don't worry because,

Also, in case of any discrepancies in  your uploaded photograph in your application form, NTA mails you on your registered Email id.

Even if NTA doesn't mail and you can change Photos to meet the nta guidelines/specifications. So, don't worry you can change your photographs and upload new photographs with white background

Neet correction window will open on 11th August and the last date to use it is 14th August.

Here's how you can use it to change the uploaded images :-

* visit neet.nta.nic.in

Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

Apply to Emversity Allied Health Sciences programs

* login using your application number and password

* An option to change the images  will be there on your screen, click on it

*Now you can change your uploaded images

*Then you will get an otp on your registered mobile number which you will have to enter in order to confirm your correction.

Specifications for photo:-

>>>>>>>your passport size photograph,(size: 10 kb to 200 kb)

>>>>>>> your postcard size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 10 kb to 200 kb)


  • your photographs  must be taken  on or after 01.01.2021 and  preferably mentioning  your name and the date on which the photograph was clicked

  • you shouldn't be wearing any cap or goggle,

  • spectacles are allowed only if you use them regularly.

  • at least 80% face coverage should be there in your photographs

  • your ears should be visible

  • Should be coloured one

  • the background should be white .

  • Should be in jpg format


>>>>>> your Signature  (size :-4 kb to 30 kb)

  • Full signature

  • in running hand means not in capital letters, in jpg format.

  • on white paper

  • with black ink


>>>>>> your left-hand thumb impression (10 kb to 200 kb ):-

  • with blue ink

  • on white paper  in JPG format.

  • Should not be blurry

  • Should be scanned one

  • Right Hand Thumb impression can be used in case of non- availability of  left-hand thumb due to any eventuality

Hello Aspirant!!

As per the rules and regulations released at the time of releasing of Application form by NTA, it is specified that the NEET photo should be have a plain background.

But, you uploaded in blue background. So, to be in a safer zone update the photo with white background during the NEET application correction window during 11th August to 14th August.
