If your Class 10th marksheet is clearly visible with your name, date of birth, and marks correctly shown, your NEET application is unlikely to be rejected. Many candidates upload documents by taking a photo and converting it into a PDF, as long as the details are readable. However, if the exam authority specifies a scanning requirement, it's advisable to check their guidelines. If needed, you may get a scanned copy ready in case of any future verification. Stay calm and monitor any updates from the NEET portal for confirmation.

hi ,

here is the criteria for being rejected or get selected of  NEET documents :-

following is the criteria for your documents that are unlikely to be rejected

Name, Date of Birth (DOB), and Marks are clearly visible
- File format is PDF (as required by NTA)
- File size is within the prescribed limit (usually mentioned in the NEET application)
- Marksheet is issued by a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, NIOS, etc.)
- No blur, distortion, or missing details.

Possible Reasons for Rejection (if any):

- If the uploaded document is blurry or unclear
-If the wrong document is uploaded instead of the marksheet
-If the PDF is corrupted or not opening properly
-If the document is edited/manipulated in any way

hope this helps

Hello Om,

If your Class 10th marksheet is clear, readable, and has all required details (name, DOB, marks), then your NEET application won’t be rejected just because you didn’t scan it. Many students upload photos converted to PDFs, and as long as it's legible and not blurry , there should be no issue.

If NTA finds any problem, they will notify you for corrections during the form correction window. Just keep checking your email and NEET website for updates.
You don't need to take any stress.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

While taking a photo of your 10th marksheet from your phone and uploading it as a PDF might not be the ideal method, it's very likely that your NEET application won't be rejected solely because of this, as long as all the necessary details are clearly legible - your name, date of birth, and marks should be easily identifiable.

Here's why you might not need to worry too much:

  • Most application systems are designed to be flexible:

As long as the image quality is good enough to read the details, most systems can accept a clear phone photo.

  • Check the guidelines:

Always double-check the specific instructions on the NEET application portal to see if there are any explicit rules against using a phone photo.

  • Contact the NTA helpline:

If you're still concerned, reach out to the National Testing Agency (NTA) helpline for clarification regarding your specific situation.

GOOD LUCK!!
