A Bachelor of Pharmacy is a undergraduate academic degree in the field of pharmacy. In many countries, this degree is a prerequisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist. Since both PharmB and PharmD are prerequisites to license in most western countries they're considered equivalent.
For admission to the Pharmacy courses, student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology. Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Students, those pass the three year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) are also eligible.
Eligibility criteria for getting admission to B Pharm course is that the candidates who have passed two year P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or University with cutoff percentage of 50.
