Paper and Pulp Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals in the manufacturing of paper, pulp and other biomaterials. This branch also deals withdifferent procedures and applications to recycle the waste papers and other waste materials to convert them into useful commercial products.

Paperand Pulp Engineering is the branch of engineering that focusses on to convert the renewable raw materials into useful commercial products. Paper and Pulp making takes into accountmany different disciplines like chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and microbiology.

Pulp chemistry and Paper chemistry are integrated processes, but each is carried out somewhat separately. Knowledge of both Pulp chemistry and Paper chemistry is integral to the smooth running of paper mill. Paper making is changing rapidly.
