In order to become a dentist in India, you will need to pursue a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. This is a 5-year undergraduate program that focuses on dental sciences and clinical practice. After completing the BDS degree, you will also need to register with the Dental Council of India (DCI) to practice as a dentist.
