You need to appear for the entrance test .Once you qualify the test you become eligible to participate in the councelling process for  various courses offered by nift. The test follows different pattern for different courses for example for bftech you need appear only for gat but if you look forward to bdes then you are required to appear for gat as well as cat .After qualifying these two you are further required to take the situation test.
