Here are the steps that a candidate can follow if they desire to become a CA : 

• first of all the candidate needs to enroll themselves for the entrance exam of CPT under the ICAI.
• after passing CPT candidate needs to register for intermediate level exam which is IPCC
• After clearing that you know it to train under a CA for at least three years
• then finally after completing all this you get your degree of CA and a unique number by which you can practice or go for a job.
