First of all I don't know which exam you are talking about so I will answer this question from overall point of view.First of all you need to practice previous year's question papers thoroughly and you need to go through your prescribed textbook for the exam and select the important chapters and focus on them(chapters with a lot of weightage).Practice lots of mock question papers.I  hope these steps will be enough to help you pass.
