If you want to become an assistant professor then you must have the basic minimum education qualification for the same with the required grade point or percentage.

The qualification of an assistant professor is : (As per UGC Regulations)

A good academic record (Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade)

Master's degree in the required field

Must have qualified NET or State Level Eligibility Test
