In order to become Chemistry Professor, After completing your schooling, Follow up with the Graduation programme with Chemistry, Go for M.Sc programme then must qualify UGC-NET, CSIR-JRF etc then you can join lecturership in any college.

After completing UGC NET you can join as Assistant Professor.

The next step is Mandatory for Academic Enrichment and Promotion, You can go for Ph.D in your specialization and can join any Research group under esteemd professor. JRF is not only a qualification for Ph.D it supports you the financially as JRF scholars get the stipend.

Good Luck!

Hi

After 12th you have to earn a bachlbache degree in chemistry field and after that you should apply for post graduate degree programme and score at least 55% marks since it is the minimum eligibility for NET exam

It is qualifying exam for teaching in a college.

Or you can apply for M.phil and pH.d degree are required for doing a teaching  in colleges.

Thanks
