Hello learner,
According to JEE Mains 2020 Application, you'll need not upload your community certificate along with your signature and photograph. It is mandatory to fill up the category accurately. Regardless of your community certificate, it is enough to upload your one of the Government ID proofs.
So, don't worry regarding the Community certificate. Make sure you mention your community correctly. In order to avoid risk, look forward to receive your community certificate as soon as possible.
Good Luck!
Hello Aspirant,
If you want to change your category from general to OBC then you must have a category certificate for verification.
If they asked you to upload certificate in application form than its impossible for you to change your category now but if they just asking for category, you can mention it as OBC and get your category certificate before exam because if won't have certificate you will be considered as general category student.
Also you can contact the helpline number of them for confirming about category certificate.
I'll suggest you to confirm it once from official authority of exam too.
Hope this information is helpful for you.
All the best.
