Most colleges admit students to non-professional courses based on the merit. The authorities consider only the Class 12 marks. The entrance are most usually for professional courses. But at the same time there are a few exceptions also. Colleges like Banaras Hindu University and all do conduct examinations. For BCA courses, if there are entrance, the questions would be based on computer basics and mathematics. Logical reasoning and mathematics as well as computer science of Class 12 will be the major questions. Some may also ask questions on physics.

First search for a college and get informed how the entry occurs. Proceed for that. If there is entrance prepare for that based on the syllabus. Also try previous year question papers.
