1. A Master's degree in Hindi with 55% marks from a recognized university.

2. Take admission through some National Entrance exam for Hindi phD incude CVVET, NET, JRF and SLET. Popular exam for Ph.d is UGC NET.

2. Look for universities that offer a PhD in Hindi.

3. If you qualify UGC NET you might be eligible for direct admission in most universities.

Important dates:

Universities release their PhD applications forms around March-June . Entrance exams are generally held in June - August.
