Hello.,

NEET is national eligibility cum entrance tesr. It is a national level exam conducted by NTA for getting admission into the undergraduate MBBS., BDS., and ayush courses. You are not eligible for these courses if you haven't qualified for the NEET exam.

The cutoff varies for every category i.e, minimum of 50% for general category and 40% for OBC, SC &ST.  The total marks would be 720 and you need to score above 600 to get admission into the top medical colleges.

There is also quotas i.e., 15% all india quota and 85% state quota. You can apply for the counselling after qualifying in Neet.
