See UPSC conduct exams Like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, IES and many more...

For IES exam only engineering candidate eligible... and they can also apply for IAS/ IPS/IFS/IRS exam too...

Other graduate candidates can apply all UPSC exams except IES (becoz it needs engineering degree).

So, sandeep you can apply for any exam that is conducted by UPSC... you are in right path, no need to hesitate... All the best

IES was the upsc exam conducting every year for core branches like ECE,MECH,CIVIL,EEE 

Engineering Services Examination. This examination is conducted by UPSC every year. There are four categories in this exam.

i) Civil Engineering

ii) Electrical Engineering

iii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

iv) Mechanical Engineering for computer science graduates, Electronics & Telecommunication is the most suitable category.

So, you can apply under these categories.
