i want to join IIT but i got 266 which is 53.2% by JAC Board

Hello,

The JAC Board (Jharkhand State) has provided the top 20 percentile marks for the year of 2019. As you may already know a student must have secured either 75% marks or be in top 20 percentile of their respective board. As you are clearly not above 75%, your only hope was top 20 percentile. This year the cutoff is around 320 marks for general student and 306 for SC or ST students, which is more or less on the lines of last year. I am sorry to say but despite your performances in the entrance exam, you cannot take admission in any IIT or NIT with this percentage. I would suggest you give improvement exam and try next year.
