VITEEE 2018 Counselling Procedure:

Candidates who appeared for the VITEEE 2018 exam can attend the counselling only once.

The allotment of seat, branch and college campus is on the basis of All India Rank secured by the candidate in VITEEE 2018.

Once allotted, there will be no change of branch or campus allowed.

The selection and admission procedure is same across all campuses of VIT University - Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal/Amaravati. Shortlisted candidates can attend the counselling in any of the four campuses.

In order to participate in VITEEE 2018 counselling, the candidates have to register in any of the counselling venues and select any campus/branch as per the availability based on their VITEEE 2018 ranking.

The candidates are required to carry a Demand Draft of INR 50,000 in favour of VIT University to the counselling venue without which they will not be allowed to sit for the counselling. The DD should be submitted once the seat and branch allocation is done. The remaining fee must be paid on or before June 2018 (Via DD or Online).

Candidates opting for hostels must carry another DD of INR 21,000.

If a candidate is not able to attend the VITEEE counselling, his/her seat will be offered to the candidate next in the merit list.

Under unavoidable circumstances, if a candidate cannot personally attend the counselling, then he/she can appear for the counselling on a subsequent date and time. For this, he/she has to inform the VITEEE 2018 office in this regard. Secondly, the candidate has to accept whichever branch is available at that time.

The candidates need to bring the counselling e-admit card, a copy of the Aadhaar card along with other relevant documents (mentioned below) in order to attend the VITEEE 2018 counselling.

After the counselling for a particular day is over, the number of seats (branch wise) still available for allotment on the next day of counselling will be published online.

The date and time pertaining to VITEEE 2018 counselling cant be changed under any circumstances.

VITEEE 2018 Counselling Documents Checklist:

The candidate must present the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies at the time of VITEEE counselling 2018.

VITEEE 2018 Admit Card, counselling Admit Card & a copy of VITEEEscorecard.

Class 10 Board certificate as age proof

Photocopy of Provisional admission letter

4 recent passport-size colour photographs

Mark sheet of 10+2

Community certificate (for SC/ST only)

Affidavit by student and parent

Student profile filled by the student

Nativity certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)

Transfer certificate/ Migration certificate/ School leaving certificate

Along with the documents mentioned above, the candidates must also submit the following documents at the time of admission:

Hostel Affidavit - Male candidates

Hostel Affidavit - Female candidates

Certificate of physical fitness
