for your kind information I am informing you that DUET is an entrance exam which was introduced to take admission in 87 UG courses in different colleges of DU, as per the news published it is clear that you can have admission in DU colleges either on the basis of Merit in class 12 or through DUET exam, but for merit based admission you need to score marks in your class 10+2 according to their cutoff criteria .
