The perfect field of study if you are planning on pursuing an LLB in the future would be a BA in Political Science. History is also good but Political Science gives you an idea of the political realm of India, the constitution, structures, and bodies of the government.

If you have made up your mind about choosing a BA in History as your honors subject, that is also good. For your secondary subject, you can choose Political Science and Economics because even outside of the BA LLB program, these subjects have the potential to offer numerous job opportunities.
