Hi, The dates for the availability of notification and application form of civil services exam by UPSC have been provided in the annual calendar. I would like you to know that there is no seperate exam for Indian Foreign Services and you have to participate in Civil Services only. The application form of Civil services 2018 exam will be made available on February 7, 2018 and you can indicate your preference of post i.e. Indian Foreign services in the same. Based on the final result of civil services, UPSC will consider your preferences along with your rank in the merit list to allot a service to you. Candidates with top 100-150 ranks (tentative) are allotted Indian Foreign Services followed by Indian Administrative Services and rest. Hope this helps.!!
