Hello Archana,

The Exam is easy to crack if it is planned & followed by you properly as a clear study plan is the key to success in any exam.

Here are some of the preparation tips, You can follow for the Exam.

Work on a Time Table : After carefully checking the syllabus of the exam towards creating a perfect timetable which will fit your schedule while leaving enough time to prepare for the examination within the days left.

Devide & Segregate the JEE Main Syllabus: The topics from the Exam syllabus must be divided into easy, tough and very tough so that preparation of the exam is made accordingly.

Make your Basic Concepts Strong : While it is essential to study the topics mentioned in the official syllabus, it is also advised to study the basic concepts well first. By knowing the basic concepts of the units involved in the examination, you will be able to understand each topics well and in depth. This will result in a greater understanding of the topics and will make it simpler for you to study complicated concepts present in the syllabus.

Improve your Weak Points : Stressed over some topics or formulas which you just cannot seem to understand? Give more time and focus on these topics to improve it. Keep small notes and constantly revise those concepts which has been hard to understand. By constantly studying the topics you find difficult.

Attempt Mock Test and Solve Sample Papers : Mock tests will give you an almost real experience of how the examination will be. By solving mock tests, you will be able to work on time management while at the same time understanding the question paper pattern.

Revision : While studying it is important to revise those topics which has already been studied. It is advised that each day, a certain amount of time should be divided for revision purposes.

First you have to clear in your mind that if you are preparing by yourself, you should have to make a proper time table for the months and stick to it more importantly.you have to select a particular month upto which you gonna finish your one time revision and then you can join any of the distance learning series so that it would help you in maintaing your self confidence and tells you the topics in which you require to give more time.

Hello Archana

Since you have decided to take a drop and prepare for JEE once again you need to prepared mentally as well as academically, to succeed. You may use NCERT books for JEE preparation apart from HC Verma for physics and Rd Sharma for maths. You also need to be mentally strong and be ready for the challenge as it is not easy to sit for a year while your friends are pursuing their first year of engineering. Be focused and determined and prepare well.

Hope this helps.

Hello!!!

If you have dropped one year , then you definitely have a lot of knowledge regarding the exam. You just need to grill yourself . For that you can study rd sharma for maths and hc verma for physics . These two books have really good numericals for grilling. Also solve atleast 10 previous JEE mains question papers. If you are week at a particular topic then study extra for it. Keep a time table and complete targets each day.

See the most important thing you should do apart from studying is keep your spirits high. If at any time you feel that you are not doing well just wash your face and feel fresh and them make yourself believe that yes you have improved and if you work hard you will improve more. As the chance of losing your confidence is more during the initial phase of drop year don't just sit and study, go for some other activities and if possible do it throughout the year, this will help to get you out from the boring book world.

And about the books, the books which you have studied earlier will work,if you get stuck in some concept look for it in the net. Starting a new book will not help in any sense.

Hope you got the answer you are looking for thank-you.
