Dear Aspirant!

For pursuing law, you can go for an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree . The undergraduate degree comes in the 5 year BALLB, BBALLB or BSc. LLB form. Some of the best colleges for law in India take admission through CLAT examination.

CLAT is an objective entrance test which judges you on five parameters:

reading comprehension

logical reasoning

legal reasoning

General awareness

quantitative aptitute.

There are a total of 180 questions.

Some of the best universities for the 5 year BALLB are :

1. The National Law School of India university, Bangalore (admission through CLAT)

2. NALSAR, Hyderabad. (CLAT)

3. WBNUJS, Kolkata (CLAT)

4. NLU-Delhi (for this university admission is done through AILET)

5.NLU, Jodhpur (CLAT)

Some good private law colleges are :

1. Jindal Global law School (admission through LSAT India)

2. Symbiosis Law School, Pune (admission through SLAT)

3. Symbiosis Law School, Noida

4. Nirma Institute of law (admission through CLAT rank).

Most law schools have a semester system.
