For admission to most Indian MBA colleges, you have to take the CAT exam. It has 3 sections, Math (QA), English (VARC) and Logical Reasoning/Data Interpretation (LRDI).

For preparation this strategy should be followed:
Familiarity and speed with math topics of classes 8-10 of school.

Reading fiction/news reporting for the second section.

Solving puzzles like Sudoku for the 3rd section.

After you have built familiarity, you should take mock CAT exams of institutes like TIME/IMS to improve your CAT score.

STEP 1:Although syllabus of ll the exam are same but there is slight differences in them, Go through the detailed syllabus of the exam.
STEP 2:Then you have to go through the exam pattern and the sectional distribution of marks. You must also check whether there is any Negative marking, minimum sectional cut off or any other conditions related to wuestion papers.
STEP 3:In order to be eligible for the 2017 exams you must register for the mentioned above exams before the due dates.
STEP 4:There will be usually 4 sections namelyQuantitative AptitudeLogical ReasoningData InterpretationGeneral Knowledge/Awareness

Prepare well but before preparing you must go through the Sample Papers, exam pattern and syllabus in dept then start preparing because you are almost half done. Then start focusing on the sections you are best at. Also do not forget to take the online mock tests that will not only boost your knowledge and timing skills.
