Hello,

A score of 75+ percent on your 12th board test is the minimum requirement to appear in JEE mains. After your 12th grade graduation, you then take the JEE mains three times in accordance with the main rules. You can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years.

Hello Aditya,

Since you passed your 12th exam in 2023 after failing in 2020, you are still eligible to attempt JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), but with the following considerations:

  1. Age Limit: You must be within the age limit set by the JEE authorities (usually born on or after 1st October 1999 for general category students; there are age relaxations for reserved categories).

  2. Attempts: The JEE Main exam allows a maximum of 3 attempts for each candidate. Since you passed in 2023, you can attempt JEE Main in 2024, 2025, and 2026 (if you haven’t already used up any attempts prior to 2023).

  3. Eligibility Criteria: You need to meet the eligibility criteria regarding your 12th exam subjects. For JEE, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your 12th exam.

Make sure to check the official JEE guidelines for any updates on eligibility, age limit, or number of attempts.

Hi,

Yes, you can still attempt the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) despite having passed your 12th in 2023 after initially failing in 2020. The eligibility criteria for JEE include:

  1. Age Limit : Generally, candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1998. There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

  2. Number of Attempts : A candidate can attempt JEE Main a maximum of three times. JEE Advanced can be attempted two times in two consecutive years.

  3. Qualifying Exam Year : Candidates who passed their 12th standard exam in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 are eligible for JEE 2024.

Since you passed your 12th in 2023, you are eligible to appear for JEE. Just ensure you meet the other criteria regarding age and number of attempts
