The minimum age to apply for UPSC Civil Service Examination is 21 years as of August 1st in the year of application. And the upper age limit as of August 1st in the year of application is 32. Depending on the category the upper age limit is relaxed. Your age as on August 1, 2023 will be 20 years 9 months 7 days which is less than 21 years so you are not eligible to apply for UPSC Civil Service Examination 2023. You wil be eligible to apply for UPSC CSE 2024 as your age will be above 21 years in the year 2024. To apply for UPSC CSE a a candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree from a recognised board.
