Hello aspirant,

You are not eligible to appear for the UPSC CSE Exam 2023. To be eligible ,you need to be at least 21 years old as on 1st August of the year of appearing for UPSC examination.

As on 2nd October 2023, you'll be 21 years old but it is after the month of August according to the Age limit eligibility criteria. So, you can give this exam from 2024.

Furthermore, the eligibility criteria for UPSC CSE exam states that :

UPSC Civil Services Exam Age Limit: Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age . General Category & EWS: 32 years; 6 attempts. OBC (with certificate): 32 years + 3 years; 9 attempts. SC/ST: 32 years + 5 years; unlimited attempts.
